How do I know if solar is a good investment for me?

Solar is a good investment for almost any home or building owner. SaskPower has a very good incentive program, which, on average, reduces the initial cost of the panels by 20%. The actual cost of generating power after the solar panels are installed is zero. This, combined with SaskPower’s net metering program, which effectively allows you to sell back excess power production to the power grid, makes solar power one of the most promising alternative energy options, and one that is truly ready for mass adoption.

How big of a solar system do I need?

We size your solar system based on a number of factors, the primary one being how much power do you consume in an average month. When our solar experts do a site analysis of your property and energy usage, we also look at your property site, size of your roof, and other factors to provide a detailed quote which outlines the size and cost of your solar system as well as the projected energy yields that will come from it.

Solar panel installations are extremely reliable. We use the highest quality solar panels available, and these panels all come with a 25 year warranty. In actual usage, solar panels will retain approximately 90% of their power generating capacity 30 years later, with many strong years to go. With the average residential installation receiving a 100% return on investment in approximately 10 years, solar panels are one of the best durable investments you can make to a property.

Are solar panel installations reliable?
